but THOSE guys werent over either so

I dont see what the big deal is, if the fans hadn't done it, i'm sure cena would've sooner or later

if they play it right they could use it as a chant that angers him whereas he never gets angry at anything else and he could be like "husky harris was my slave name and now i've been enlightened" or some shyt like that

That RKO counter was nice. Crowd was into the main event.

I thought Bryan was gonna win MITB for sure but the fact that he is being booked so strong makes you second guess :lupe:

Solid RAW tho. Good matches, minimum shytty segments, dope debut by the Wyatts.

Smarks are some of the worst "fans" of anything ever.
True.

Folks wanna be smarter than what they're watching and they wanna make sure that you know that they know that they're smarter than what they're watching.

I did laugh at the Husky Harris chants though , I thought they wouldn't chant it but they did anyway.

Those chants were not endearing. Let it be known that Bray was over with most of the crowd but the select few who chanted husky are the typical Indy fan smarks that I've run into at roh shows. They are the most vile kind of nerd you will ever meet..

:manny: He's all but booked to face Cena at Summerslam, MITB win or not

That's what i`m saying, I made a thread about Cena/Bryan at SS.

I think we're forgetting that dude can lose the MITB match and still face Cena at SS. Usually MITB wait a while to cash it in, not the next ppv.

I got Orton winning and leading to a heel turn cash in

And this circles around to my point: it's not the fans' job to ensure that a moment happens, it's the wrestlers'. You want the crowd and management to follow something, you make them react to you in the way that you desire rather than through inane chanting and make them see that. You want "WHAT" chants to stop, don't chastise the fans, get the wrestlers to figure out how to make it stop. Honestly, if you can't turn it around in any way, I seriously doubt your skill as a promo.

It's also far too soon to panic over chanting. It was the motherfukking DEBUT SEGMENT of a guy only known as another character on TV. If you didn't think he was going to get "Husky Harris" chants, I dont't even know what to say. How long have some of these people been watching wrestling?

All I'm saying is that it's easier to chant "Husky Harris" than Bray Wyatt, that's all. Some may have legit wanted to appreciate him, but couldn't find a way to make "Bray Wyatt" into a chant. You never know. But I'm pretty damn sure that Wyatt's good enough as a promo to nip it in the bud if it happens again. You have to trust the talent sometimes.

:what: The fukk kind of point is that? No shyt it's not their job. But what else could they have done to "make" the moment for the crowd to respond in a different way? Dude comes out in the darkness with a lantern after weeks of vignettes pushing the WYATT FAMILY and as you described, the crowd went fukkin nuts. The segment starts to come to an end and instead of booing or chanting "Wyatt" (there's your easy chant) they decide to chant his shytty old name. It's some "ha, you're not fooling me, you're still Husky Harris to me!" shyt. You think there were portions of the crowd that just got so caught up in excitement but couldn't think of a good way to chant his current name so they went back 3-4 years to use his old one? You think that portion wasn't deliberately trolling? :what:

And I was the first person in here saying, hoping, praying the crowd wouldn't chant Husky Harris so I was well aware of what was likely to happen so I don't know what YOU'RE saying. :what: And there's no panic but if you want to act as if this is solely because it was his debut, or because his current name isn't chant friendly, I gotta ask how long have YOU been watching. The fans in the following cities that WILL follow suit and make shyt corny when he comes out when he's cutting a promo or during a match. It's the domino effect of all the shytty chants that people do because they think it's funny. Will it make or break the character? Who knows with that petty ass management and their shaky ass response to any and everything? Can he get through it? I have no doubts about dudes skill. Does it make these corny ass fans any less annoying? Not at all.
