So because the entire encounter wasn't filmed you just assume she did nothing? The officer just showed up out the blue?

Not saying she deserved what happened in any way, but to say she didn't do anything at all because it wasn't on film is ridiculous.

Her acknowledging the cop was wrong isn't the issue. The issue is even highlighting the child's wrong like they are some kind of equivalent or the child deserves that treatment. It's a grown ass man whose job is to protect people vs a bratty kid. There is no shared blame here. There is nothing that kid did to deserve that response.

If a little child walks up to my car and throws a rock at my windshield, me punching the kid in the face and bashing their head against the sidewalk should not be seen as "well, they were two wrongs here". I'm an adult. They're a child. Not only should the onus be on me to do better as an adult, but they arent even equivalent actions

I'm very interested in human psychology. So whenever someone does or says something really....'out there' I always try to examine the person. Does anyone know what....what exactly happened to Raven? She used to be a normal teenage girl under her father's management. Now she's this bizarre, overweight lesbian with strange hair styles. How does one make the transition to normal to....this? Was she molested? Is the fact that she's no longer under her father's management played a role in this unfortunate transition?

Being a c00n or someone with an unpopular opinion is one thing. But she's taking things a bit too far. I sincerely believe she's legit crazy. I'm really hoping this is a devious tactic on her (and the producer's) part in attracting viewership to the show ("The View" had declining ratings before she joined).

A question was asked why people are reluctant to blame her for anything.

The answer is because she's not on tape acting a fool. The arresting officer was. If the cop wasn't on tape doing what he did, we wouldn't even be here.

From the available information we have, it seems both the teacher and officer were overzealous in their "discipline"

The people looking to place blame on her without any proof are the ones making the assumptions. We don't know what she did. All we have is a statement from the officer that choked her and the teacher that cheered him on.
