The ratings are out for the 1PM Christmas Day game between the Raiders-Chiefs:

29 Million Viewers tuned in to watch Las Vafas-Kansas City yesterday. At one point, viewership peaked at 37 Million. I think we’ll see a higher number for NYG-Philadelphia, and we might see 35-40 Million for Baltimore-San Francisco.

The NBA numbers aren’t out yet. I should rename the thread to ratings update. Only one game has their numbers out so far.

Sure, but this thread is about to get entertaining as fukk. I know in the other thread about Christmas games one of the NBA gang was calling someone else crazy for saying the NFL games would get 25 million views at minimum.

I also don't understand why you'd compare a 17 game series vs a 82 game series.
The NBA playoffs have more games than a whole NFL season. And even if you do, how it's interesting to consistently reaffirm that NFL games are bigger family events than NBA, MLB, MLS or NHL games.

Posting on a message board shows you have a level of awareness most don't have or want.

Both leagues are healthy. But we know NFL is king. By a large margin. And it's OK. Because we have access to both. And being on a message board, you're probably streaming every game for free.
