I give them a 10 because they have the best harmonies of any female group besides the Emotions and all the members can sing lead.

They really do. I cant think of any other female group that's comparable. There may be one, but its escaping me at the moment. I liked TLC and Xscape more...but talent wise, its no contest IMO.

I liked a grip of their songs and they can really sing but I never felt that 50s/60s style dress thing they had, felt outdated and try-hard. 7

They should have gone much farther than they did. All four members could sing lead and they were all attractive. How many groups in the history of r&b music can say that? It's a shame the business side of the music fukked this group up. I gave them a 9.

I'm an older dude. I was in high school when they first dropped. I remember seeing them that first night on Video Music Box in the Hold On video. In those black dresses:banderas:. Next day at school all the fellas was talking about them.

I voted an 8. They have classic songs like Hold On, My Lovin, Don't Let Go. No classic albums. They were like a super group. Every one of these ladies could've been solo stars in the 80's, ESPECIALLY if they were gospel singers. They all have that church lady voice. Heavy, strong & soulful. There was no female group in the 90's who could compete with them vocally. Shiiiid there were few male groups who could compete with them vocally; maybe Boyz II Men and Silk come to mind but that's it.

There were classy and sexy and all of em could get it :noah: So seductive. I love En Vogue. What keeps them from being a 9 or 10 is the lack of sustained success and their albums were boring to me outside of their singles. Only one good album to me in Funky Divas. After that it was:russell:

Born to sing is a classic. EV3 is a solid album.

The constant infighting along with r&b groups trend dying in the early 2k hurt them.
