I have never been, but I've had this particular city pegged as where I'd drop anchor (been doing research on it since high school).

I used to live in Houston and drove there for a weekend. This was 2002 .

It was ok but I heard its changed dramatically for the better since then.

My brother recently went and said it was a 9.

ATX is cool. Fun bar scene downtown on 6th. They have a bad homeless problem down there though.
Great music scene obviously. Went to ACL in like 2012, it was cool. Saw A$AP and a few other acts at a different fest.
Its a fun place to visit. Can't really speak on living there. I'd go back

Ive been to Austin once for the USC v Texas game in 2018 . Went to 6th Street afterwards . It was POPPIN! Lot of IT jobs in this area too. Traffic is horrific . Might go bacc next weekend by myself to get more feel for the city

That weekend shutdown bar crawl
On 5th is dope. The homeless problem is crazy there tho. It felt like we was watching the 1st phase of gentrification with all the homeless at this mission 1 block over and all the closed down store fronts.
