I've just never had the urge to go to DC. What's in DC that's not in Atlanta or Houston? I'm not joking either. I'm really interested.
Do those two cities have anything on the level of the National Mall?
Are their public transit systems as big as DC’s?
I know ATL got quite a few but does H-Town got anything similar to PG County or Charles County?
Are both cities consistently walkable and pedestrian-friendly like DC?
Do both cities got a waterfront and if so, do they got anything similar to or on the level as The Wharf, Georgetown, Old Town Alexandria, National Harbor, and Mount Vernon?
Do both cities got better seafood than DC?
Do both cities got a significant number of interesting cities to hit up for a day trip or weekend getaway like DC?
Do both cities have institutions similar to Howard Theater and Lincoln Theater? Kennedy Center? DAR Constitution Hall?
GoGo music is obvious even though I recently learned earlier this year that ATL got a GoGo band of their own lol but if you want the real deal experience, definitely come up here for that and check it out
LIVE.
DC arguably got the best quality Black women in the country (and that’s not even touching the MD and VA suburbs yet, where the quality in Black women is even more superior IMO) but it also got a lot of international women to choose from if you’re into that. That pretty much comes with the territory as the nation’s capitol with access to 3 major airports and the Northeast Corridor and of course all the foreign embassies and consulates.
Obviously I doubt you’ll find any mumbo sauce or even half-smokes in both cities lol
Now on the flip side, what does ATL and H-Town have that DC don’t have that would pique the interest of someone like myself coming from PG?
