Grew up there, this is spot on.The embodiment of this gif
Nice spot for a family. If you’re young/youngish not a bad place to get on your feet and stack some money. Not much of a definitive culture in Raleigh, but I also dont really get the Charlotte love in terms of it being a much better option.

Love is a long road.
Both of them aren’t that far from each other. Raleigh isn’t a bad city according to most on here but it is pretty small and less popular compared to Charlotte.
A little less racist than Charlotte. And much better job prospects due to diversified economy. Nightlife non-existent and housing market way overpriced.
Lots of pawgs and exoticals though if that's your thing.

I went twice a year damn near every year of my life, and Raleigh always felt like a sleepy small southern town. Over the past 10-15, that city has changed. There going thru a population boom, a construction boom, the QOL is ranked the highest in the country. People who went to school in the area are now staying after they graduate, more jobs more everything. Downtown Raleigh and a couple of nice clubs, shopping has improved a lot, and there are far more things to do now than there have ever been. I'm thinking about moving there since I so much family there ( my grandparents are from Raleigh) so seeing a familiar face is easy. Raleigh has definitely transformed into a formidable city

I went there for a wedding this summer. Really nice looking small city. Clean, a lot of young ppl, and looks like there's a lot to do there.
I almost finessed a threesome w two white girls that i randomly met on the street. shyt fell apart tho at the last minute because im a dumbass.. still kickin myself for that

I liked it when I visited.. I was taken back by how built up it was. Prior to visiting Raleigh most of my NC visits were to Rocky Mount so I thought the entire state was rural and country 
So when went to Raleigh for the first time I was 
8/10 city, wouldn't mind living there.

Nope. I'm from Florida but lived all over the South.
Same
