Just came back. Man this city is dope.

Too expensive to live but Harlem was straight Black excellence. Bar hopping, Black people having a good time. I didn’t wanna go back to the ATL.

My girl from Jamaica Queens and she took me on the real shyt. Walking past the co-ops at night to get to a REAL Jamaican restaurant, taking the train, etc. Celebs walking and making their way like it’s nothing while Tip and others down here are in some “look at me” shyt. :comeon:

NY is big as fukk and I had a blast. GOAT city just too expensive. 10/10

Born and raised in New York. One of the greatest international hubs in the world.

Each borough has it's own personality

Boogie Down Bronx and Brooklyn got the most energy. Historically, these two boroughs had the most crimes. East New York and Brownsville can go head-head with South Bronx. Scared? LMAO. BX has a lot of suburban neighborhoods like Riverdale. BK like Fort Greene, Cobble Hill, Bedstuy, Williamsburg has nice brownstones and high rise appartments.

DUMBO!

Washington Heights for a taste of Dominican Republic. Senoritas with big booties -- no flat pizza asses here!

Washington Square Park there's always a party!

Central Park if you want a escape from the hustle and bustle. Prospect Park and Pelham Bay Park comes close.

City Island for the best seafood cuisine!

Queens is more relaxed and very diverse. Astoria one of the best diverse cities in terms of food, culture and environment. Astoria Park you can get a nice view of the RFK (Triborough bridge) plus you had a lot of outdoor activities like skateparks, basketball courts, tennis, swimming pool.

Harlem is the mecca of black culture in Manhattan. Historically, home to Harlem Renaissance Jazz scene; Apollo theatre where a lot of talent gets discovered; plenty of shopping districts; Little Africa for the motherland fever.

Chinatown has a lot of videogame arcades

Plenty of walkable bridges towards other boroughs. GWB if you want access to Jerssssey plus beautiful views of the Hudson River.

Westchester County is just 30 minutes away

Visited a couple weeks ago….:wow:, wouldn’t want to live there permanently due to the crowding, COL, and I know I would hate the winters there….but definitely one if the GOAT cities.

Got off at a bus stop at 125th & Lexington, the variety of black women was crazy.

I grew up in Miami thinking it was pretty diverse, but knew it was segregated. Been to Montreal a few times, and that was pretty diverse….but that shyt is not fukking with New York as far as cultural mixing (for better or worse). Feels like you can walk just 5 blocks and here 10 different languages, swaggers, types of food, etc.

The northeast is lucky as fukk to have their transit systems, being able to hop from one end of the city to the other….or taking a trip to Philly is fire.

Harlem :wow: I could feel the excellence.

For the most part the whole city is dirty, but Chinatown (and Flushing) :picard: the smell is different and the mosquitos are gully af over there.

- Jacobs Restaurant, I think on Lennox a few blocks north of MLK …the food there is fire. (Mosque #7 is around the corner)

- the Billie Jean tennis center/Arthur Ashe stadium has some dope grounds.

- Visited the WTC…1) from a distance seeing where the towers would’ve been and imagining the planes flying into them …shyt got me hot. Then visiting the site and museum, smh. I know the energy for New Yorkers back then had to be tense af. 2) it’s a couple of days before 9/11, about to exit the Occulus(?) station….hear this Black chick with a heavy NY accent sounding tight af about all the tourists crowding and saying sorry and shyt. ‘Y’all ain’t even from here, fukk you saying sorry for…’ :dead:

And wtf does NY do with their homeless population :wtf:

In Miami, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, OKC, LA…felt like I saw hordes of homeless folk.

But somehow in NY don’t feel like I came across em like that, and I was out and about all day and night, getting back to hotel around 12-3am.

You nikkas bussing em out or some shyt
