Incredible art. Beautiful country. Very clean. Food is okay but nothing that blew me away.

Most racist place I've ever been to. Entire country full of tall, white Dutch and then I'm walking around with dark skin and an American accent. They hate Americans. They don't care for anyone with a drop of melanin. They spoke and looked at me like I was Trump's butler.

The natives are very arrogant and xenophobic

I was there last year and had a ball. I'm black as well and I know racism is everywhere but they were pretty friendly too me during my short stay there:yeshrug: Amazing city tho. I'm a huge fan of architecture and this place has to be top 5 in the world. Never seen that many bikes in my life. Food was cool. Smoked. Didn't trip on the Red Light District.. had a chick out there. Would definitely go again

7/10 its overcrowded with Brit tourists all year round. The weed is more expensive than hitting up your local dealer.Still worth visiting for culture and the novelty of the red light district.

The melkweg is a top notch hip hop club though if youre there on a Friday.

Good for a short break 2-3 days. Anything else than that nah

Not much if you don't smoke up. Food wasn't that amazing.

Red light district is worth visiting just to see how strange the vibe is.

From the times I've been it was full of boozed up brits a bit too much for my liking.

I didn’t see any negativity when I was out there but I didn’t really meet any Dutch people.

From what I understand the Southern parts of Holland are almost like the Bible Belt in the US.

Wet shrooms was strong at. I didn't have any truffle. Madrid is cool too but I prefer Barcelona

I give it an 8, while it is a great city, weed is legal all over the Netherlands and some cities are just more fun to be in because you’re less likely to be involved in tourist things. For instance, Rotterdam...

By what criteria :patrice: similar to London when I’m over there

Rental prices are also on par with London
you cant go coffee shops in London and walk around all day smoking weed, its not the same experience

people also love walking by the canal's, the atmosphere is nice when the weather is good and the red light district no matter how cheesy it is, its a funny signt in the evening when everyone was drunk or eating just walking around

I had an AirBnb about 15 mins outside of Centrum. Place was homogeneous to the core. There was some diversity, but it ain't on the level of Paris or London.

i feel you, maybe it was different for me cause as soon as i arrived i saw black people plus the first coffee shop i walked into was owned by a older black guy so that was kool, never felt like other people were watching me or looking at me differently compared to other places
