She sent me a text the next day telling me she loved me, and I kinda played it off thinking it was a joke. After that she did a full 180 on me and wouldn't talk to me and started talking mad shyt to all my co-workers and boss about me. She was the sweetest little asian chick you've ever met before it all happened then I saw a completely different side of her, like she was on a mission to destroy me. I hated that job anyway and eventually quit.

Sheisty as hell :francis:

If it had more young black professionals it would be a tier 1 city. :yeshrug:

Nobody is stopping blacks from being professional in Boston. They should develop it like other cities. Don’t use racism as the excuse ATL the “black Mecca” actually has horrible inequalities for blacks as well but they’ve manage to build a middle class through it all. DC too.

Spoken like someone ignorant of the issues facing Boston…the problem isn’t that there’s no Black professionals in Boston, it’s that the Black professionals have no desire to stay in Boston and that is absolutely because of Boston’s issues with racism. Some of the best Black talent in the country is always coming thru Boston thanks to the great schools, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, etc. They view their stay in Boston like doing time. They’re sharpening their resumes to position themselves to earn more in one of the cities they actually want to live in. Boston does a terrible job trying to retain this talent.

Nah they know exactly what there doing not sure if you seen my previous thread but everyone just ends up running way to either the DMV, ATL, or Houston metro area

Boston honestly does not want to see black people in a certain position and it doesn't help that the black dollar/buy power is extremely low as well. Even though providence is ghetto as shyt and they do a much better job at retaining black professionals

Yeah I agree with this. I went to school there and had my fun, but there was no way I was staying there past graduation. Ended up bouncing to DC. I see the potential the city has if they could retain the black professionals that come there.

I give it a 7. I've went therr couple of times. First time i visited the city i got shytted by a @Pigeon on the head when i was a youngin. I have family members outside of Boston ( Lawrence).
I love the gloomy new england weather, especially in early june which the temps be sometimes around 50 degrees. I love old the architectures and colonial grid lay out of the city . I think it's the 2nd oldest city in the main land U.S after St. Augustine

Also bston gave birth to bobby brown, new edition, and legendary mc Guru .
