New Yawk where I’m from / Bahston where I’m at
Been here in Boston proper for 8 years now, took some getting used to for sure because it really is small city.

Reasonable places to go out, culturally good, food scene small but ok. Music scene with 0 cohesion real drawback. It’s a good place to work.

Covert racism is a bytch for sure liberal racists everywhere.

EDIT Boston brehs what’s good? Where you now?

that music is half the reason why the party scene died. It's sad honestly

Gave it a 7.

Been meaning to visit, preferably during the fall so I can get that true New England natural experience mixed with top notch urbanity.

Very compact size city with classic urbanity and a unique street grid that’s reminiscent of London’s. Significant history and a lot of culture. Seems like a Cac Mecca but with a strong visible presence of Blacks, Latinx, Asians, etc.

Black population is very diverse with lots of ADOS, Haitians, Jamaicans, Cape Verdeans, West Africans, Dominicans, etc.

One of the better, more comprehensive public transit systems in the country. Revered for its walkability, ethnic enclaves, cultural institutions, and higher education institutions.

When it comes to food, you’ll most likely find some good ass Italian, Haitian, Seafood, Chinese, Dominican, English, Vietnamese, etc.

Those winters gotta be a bytch tho. As well as all those annoying Boston Cacs/Ma$$holes with their Family Guy sounding accents and rabid sports fanaticism :hhh:

Underrated contributions to Hip Hop, R&B, New Jack Swing, and Rock tho.
Also, where Malcolm X spent his formative years (Roxbury, the “Harlem of Boston”) and where MLK went to college (Boston University).

It gets a lot of flack as an Irish cac city but is nearly a quarter black with a diverse black population.

you might be right cause I didn’t notice anything different......

but then again I met another group of black/Dominican Boston folks in manhattan and they were saying “bah” but I’m pretty sure they were making fun of white people.

a solid 8, if not for the fact i grew up here I would probably give it a 6.5-7
you went to the wrong area Boston is 26% black

EDIT; there is black people in mass yall just dont know where to look because you didn't grow up here. Boston is one of those cities where its tight knit families so if folks dont really know you like that they're not gonna really extend their hand to you
Got you.
I was in Boston of course, but my hotel was in Chelsea and I spent some time in Somerville and Dorchester.
