Spent a week there last year. It's alright but I could only live there maybe a year or 2 at maximum. Culture, history, solid downtown/waterfront, sports, close to New York for weekend getaway. Public transit is fantastic.

New England flavor just doesn't suit me, plus lack of 400 Year Blacks.

Probably could eat good there as a black guy, but not for me. New York is the most north I could go longer than 2 years.

Ill give it a solid 7.

the cacs from there are quite awful but the non white people there are cool.

I’ve always wanted to visit Boston during the Fall season but I heard it was very :mjpls: so I never bothered going.

SMF and LAX to VA and NC
I'll give it a 6. It was fun, and I had the best salad I ever had in my life there lol...

It's like an East Coast version of SF, but with more black and brown people. I thought Roxbury and Dorchester were dope. The white people are loud and the obnoxious stereotype of the "tough Boston white boy" is a real thing, a grip of em were on The T using the n-word freely (to each other) while nobody black checked em...

Trains are raggedy as fukk there. Cold as fukk in the winter. Feels similar in size to SF/Dallas/ATL, they are all similarly sized and feeling...

Nah. It's worth checking out. Find and plan you a 3 or 4 day weekend. It's different and cool in it's own way. Walkable.

Im just saying I wouldn't consider making a life there, but if never been I would go.
