I had a chance to but property there and I didn't bother. It's a fukking mess there and you have a 18% chance of being a victim in any sort there.

Please be on the look out for Camden in the long term because if Philadelphia ends up becoming a booming east coast city Camden will end up just like Jersey City across Manhattan.


You’ll start seeing Camden building a luxurious waterfront like they are doing in the south Bronx now.


Of course people will say hell no but many areas across the country that have gentrified were given the “hell no” at one point to.

Your right, There’s is a huge possibility that Camden will get gentrified eventually. I’m from Southeast DC and which has been regarded as the worst area of DC since the 80’s and they even started to build some luxury condos here and they are also started increasing the rent so they can push the residents out.

It Philly became too expensive people would gradually start moving to Camden and the investments would follow naturally.


From what I have read Camden has been putting in efforts in crime and it’s been working and that right there would only motivate people to move there more if Philly becomes unaffordable.

used to take clients to the summer philly power concert..... which was in Camden

you just take a ferry over to the amphitheater over there.

you shoulda seen the look on relief on some of their faces as we made it back to philly
