It's been so long since I've seen this that I literally cannot remember anything about it. The only reason why I even remember watching it is because a friend recommended it swearing it was as good as Bebop. And I remember that after watching it I never took his opinion seriously.

This is similar enough to my thoughts on this series

10 hands down, Gungrave is my favourite anime of all time. It's slow, yes, but the character development is excellent. The relationships in the show and the depth in which it covers the organized crime family; Millennium, is unparalleled. The show begins with some small-time street tuffs Brandon Heat and Harry MacDowell fighting other gangs. But, they soon work up to the highest ranks of the city’s major mafia syndicate just until the second half not gonna spoiler it.

This shyt went fukking hard. Great story and world building. Dope characters and the emotional attachment everyone has with each other is dope because it dictates the action. Story also has a great mafia vibe to it. That brotherhood angle is done real good. The music was dope too. Bunch of memorable scenes as well. Besides 91 days, not many capture that gangster vibe, but this does it well, prolly even better because you get to grow with the characters. Story kinda sad too.

Definitely recommend it. The action in this top notch too.

Hell, I wanna give it a 6 cause it fell off so hard. First half is great. Music is great. the game was fun, at least.
