what was last the gundam series y’all watched ?


What’s a good gundam series to watch anywyas I’m trying to get back into watching anime and I think a good gundam series can help that

I watched zeta, victory, wing, gundam x, g-gundam, seed and seed destiny

Last one I watched was IBO (it just came on Netflix). In the UC, it was Origin. That is a damn good series. I wish they'd remake MSG but from the viewpoint of Char and his sister.

If you liked Wing, then you might like Gundam 00.

Just Watched the movie Hathaway's Flash and I enjoyed it alot

I just could never get into any of the gundams as a kid or even a a teen. It just seemed clunky and lazy to limit your characters to mech suits in an anime world. Keep in mind that anime worlds usually have normal, flesh and blood humans that can fly at the speed of sound and blow mountains away. So with such a set up, why on earth do you need mechs?

Seems like a step backwards.

The whole point of gundam is that it's basically just a military drama. it's kind of like Japan's version of star trek. There not meant to be super powerful machines that blow up mountains but the pinnacle of human military technology in the near future. So this "anime world" is supposed to resemble our real world in a sense.

I would suggest watching the "Origin" movie series. I put non gundam fans onto it and all of them came back thanking me & telling me it was straight fire.
