Claybourne
yupClaybourne? You mean Claymore?
Nah the only anime that might dethrone Bebop is probably Monster. I don't think Ippo would get enough love. I personally wouldn't rate it as high but thats just me.
Monster deserves to be that high but I could see it getting knocked down just because it isn't as iconic and not as many people know of it.
I think movies should be their own lists. I don't think its fair to rate a 2-3 hour movie against a 50+ episode series. Also that kind of changes how these should be rated. I would rate Samurai X alot higher than I would rate Rurouni Kenshin. I think it just makes things easier if we don't include them or keep them to a minimum. For movie reccomendations I nominate:I want to say something. Yes, I’ve thought about adding movies. In fact I thought about doing 45 animes and 5 movies. I only had three movies in my head
1)-Street fighter which was recommended by @Balla ( He’s the reason the street fighter anime will get ranked because I damn sure didn’t think of it)
2)-Ghost in the Shell movie
3)-And the new Broly movie.
But here’s the problem. I really don’t want to put anime movies in the same list as an anime series. So I may separate it depending on the movies recommended. At most I’ll try and go to ten movies ( If recommended) because I want at least 40 different animes.
BTW I still have the following animes to get to (Steins gate, Yu Yu, Attack on titan, Demon slayer, Ghost in the Shell, Hellsring and Monster) etc.
So adding movies can get tough. But I’ll listen to recommendations since I only have three so far.

Vampire Hunter D/Bloodlust
The Girl Who Leap Through Time
Paprika
I heard good things about Monster, but never watched it.
Monster, Psycho Pass, and Hero/Mask probably in the same category (and rating).
Just like 7 Seeds, Rokka no Yuusha, and Zetsuen no Tempest is in the same category (and rating).
It's not thats its different but its like the took the best arc of the series and made it a seperate movie. Why was samurai x so different form kenshin? I never understood why.
I agree with what you said which is why I think they should have their own list. Just like Kenshin, DBZ has movies that would I think we all rank higher than the series. I think it just doesn't make sense to rank movies but exclude some because they also had series.I think films belong in the poll, but only if they don't have a TV series that accompany them since it's in the same universe. that would eliminate a lot of potential films that would clutter the list. Like all 20 of the DB films.
can't exclude Studio Ghibli when they laid the foundation for anime criticism in the West and helped create a worldwide audience for anime. A Silent Voice, Sword of the Stranger, Makoto Shinkai / Satoshi Kon / Mamoru Hosada works, lots of influential anime films worth putting on a leaderboard somewhere. how you score them relative to TV series depends on your preferences.
