In the Huffington Post article he actually went to a local police station to make a report. The police wouldn't state what he reported, but they admitted that he asked for a ride back to his hotel but they denied his request because they said that they are not a "taxi service." The cops then stated that the real reason that they could not give him a ride to his hotel was because his hotel was in a different county.

Wild part is a good chunk of the residents are black. Outside of the coast, jackson, hattiesburg? Place is backwoods. Wouldn't surprise me at all if a coverup is going on.

I've lived here for 30+ years and this hasn't been my experience. I do remember going to Alabama for work and having a white man tell me not to leave the city limits without a white person or coworker with me for my own safety. Never ever had someone tell me that shyt here in Florida, and I've been every where in this state. We can agree to disagree on this.
