I'm pretty sure people were saying the same positive things when the Mavericks signed Peja. Shard played for the Wizards but he couldn't even start for them somehow he's going to beast in a limited role with the Heat?:wtf:

you nikkas seem to be missing the big picture we just won the chip without none of these nikkas we just signed and had to go through one that would torch us to do it.....if you think the players we signed are garbage then wtf do YOU think we need then mr GM :shaq:

Remember that Miami has great rebounding on the wings from Lebron and Wade. Bosh and Haslem is enough to start with inside, and Battier's ability to play the PF on defense unlocked so much positional versaility for them.

When the offense runs through LeBron as a bign man, he doesn't have to guard the other teams big if Battier is on the floor.

Rashard is good insurance as a stretch four who can knock it down from the outside, but probably won't factor in much at all.

The teams closing lineup will be Bosh, Bron, Battier, Wade, Allen/Chalmers

The Lakers are definitely a challenge, Dwight or not. They would start the game with a big advantage in the post with two all star bigs.

But then the Heat can roll this out. C-Bosh, PF- Bron, SF- Battier, SG- Allen, PG- Wade.

Bosh loses to Howard by a bit, but Bron has proven he can huard Gasol, Battier and Artest wouldn't really matter, Kobe would have an edge on Allen but Wade would kill Nash.

So the Heat's positional versatility is important to factor in.

I doubt Nash would be guarding Wade when Allen is on the court. It would be Kobe on Wade and Nash on Allen in that example.

 Think about it this way. The heat are forcing teams to adjust to their line up and not the other way around. Dwight would have to move away from the paint to guard Bosh, making it hard to rebound or defend the paint. Their offense will be very efficient next season.
