Fitting your needs AND your system> fitting your system and Rashard Lewis sucks now so this isnt even a big acquisition.

What part of "Miami Heat, 2012 NBA Champions" don't you understand? They just won the chip, now they're upgrading their roster. They're not trying to catch anyone. Everyone else is trying to catch them.

Miami, the champs, are going to continue to play their game. After all, it just won them a title. It will be up to the other teams to adjust to what they're doing.

Yea theyre the champs, for now. Just a notion. Lets say this Laker deal DOES go down and they meet in the Finals. Now you have two 7 footers down low again only its Dwight and Pau then you have Artest, Kobe and Nash. Defensively Nash is the only weak link. And with Dwight and Pau down their they are getting RAPED on the boards. The Heat only took Rashard because we took Camby from them. I wouldve been way more scared them getting a rebounder like Camby than Rashard Lewis.

I'm talking about real shyt and you're making up fantasy teams. Comparing bench players to superstars who aren't even on said team .

The Heat wanna to play small. They wanna spread the floor with shooters to open up the lane for their playmakers. That formula just won them a title. Every other team FAILED last year. Miami is the only one that achieved their goal. That means those other teams need to make sure they can measure up, not the other way around.

Two 7 footers trying to cover 3 point shooters hardly seems like a formula for success. Those 3 East teams you mentioned have all been manhandled by the Heat the last two post seasons and Miami still has the same bigs as before, Anthony, Haslem, Bosh and Bron. It doesn't matter that they don't have a 7 footer. That's the opposite of what they were successful with.

A player that fits your system is a need. They don't need Camby for 2 obvious reasons: they just won a title playing small ball and they just won a title without him. So I would hardly call him a need. However, a guy who can knock down open 3s? They need those types of guys in order to play the way they want to play.

I dont understand how much of a fantasy it is when theyre working on a deal to send Howard to LA and Bynum to Houston so you can keep laughing but if it happens, we'll see who has the last laugh. And did this nikka just tell me I'm comparing players? Man I'm no longer interested in arguing with you lil nikkas. I'm just gonna sit back and watch everything happen and I guarantee Heat heads will roll.

Its not a big man's league anymore. ESPN & all these other sports media outlets try to hold on to the idea that it is & present this idea that you need big men to win championships but play on the court show's otherwise. Speed beats size in today's game. Its been moving in this direction for some time now. Dominant big men are still valuable but not necessary
