Nottingham Hill Carnival might be shyt, I've never been.
But, Notting Hill Carnival is amazing if your heritage is from the Caribbean. I don't go every time. You should come one year, you'd enjoy it. But, then again you're an American African bumpkin with no culture. Southern fried chicken, burgers and guns to kill school children are not a culture.
Just make sure you bring your own alcohol and eat before you come out because prices are extortionate. The pubs will even try to charge you to use the toilet. Man ends up pissing in somebody's front garden coz I ain't payin' £2 quid to buy a drink just to piss. fukk off!
It's better to go every other year anyway imo.
In one day you'd have enough fukkery for a lifetime. It's the one time in the year all women are loose.
