This is my last post on Cruel Summer cause I know you guys are sick of it or just don't give a shyt.
Because I didn't read any of the interviews before the album came out, I didn't check out any of the leaked tracks or listen to any of the snippets, too me the album was
The only song I heard before the album came out was Mercy. I hadn't heard the I Don't Like song so when that came on
that beat is just so grimey and menacing it fit with all the shyt I've been hearing about Keef. Then Jada came on and his voice all raspy and shyt was just too ill.
I hated Mercy but once I listened to it on the album the song made a lot more sense too me. As far as the rest of the songs they were all G.O.O.D. Sometimes I did hope for more than 6,000 dollar pair of shoes and all braggin and swaggin but other than that I enjoyed it. Also how people hate on Kanye for his tracks on here I actually like his verses. How reckless he sounds on songs like he knows he's the leader was real entertaining.
Then New God Flow coming right before The Morning was
cause you just heard a Ghost verse now here's Raekwon coming in right after. Or or how Higher goes right into Sin City you don't even notice the switch. Then right after Malik does his thing Cyhi just comes on sounding so demonic it's insane.
Bliss was dope can't wait for John Legends new album cause Evolver was
Overall I got what expected....Those beats Kanyes been doing with Mercy type verses. The album is starting too sound a little boring though cause like another poster said "there's not much beneath the surface"
This sounds nothing like Watch The Throne.
