Kurupt - Dope but when people speak on him like he was top 10 ever potential wise be OD'ing.
There ain't too many folks who could make a "Streetz Iz A Mutha." Dropping the same day as "Chronic 2001" was a terrible move.
Redman is a wack ass goof ball that cant fukk with Busta or Method Man or Ludacris
Gotdamn this a horrible take
For me, it's Fabolous
Do always just came off as a poor man's Jay z to me.
He's the Mark Wahlberg of hip hop. Just like Marky Mark always playing a guy from Boston, once you got to the third album, Fab was just dropping a kinda sorta dope line with the same wack ass flow.
I didn't get it either till I moved to KC. Dude is a whole self made entity and doesn't go outside his lane very often, if at all. He's what a lot of so called rap moguls wish they could be.
Noreaga.
Can’t do it. Never understood the hype and I turn 38 this year.
He was hot at a point where a lot of non-East coast shyt was heavy in the clubs outside the tri-state. I was living overseas during that time with the exception of his first solo and let me tell you, wasn't shyt more hilarious than when the DJ went from spinning a bunch of southern heat that had all the hoes on the dance floor to transitioning to X or NORE and NY nikkas damn near knocking bytches over to get to the dance floor to jump around like idiots. Them nikkas used to be desperate af to hear some NY shyt in the clubs at that time.
Rakim was nice but had one boring ass flow always
hard to be boring when you were the blueprint...there was nothing like him before then to model after
