Drug money done dried up since the 80s. Kids fighting over nothing these days
1. Actually no, because even though crime is very low, most dudes that go to prison are for nonviolent offenses which is usually drugs.

2. You were saying hip-hop had a massive impact on gang violence, which I meant drugs was one of the key factors to why gangs were expanding way to high back in the days. Even that still has an effect til this day.

Nah hip hop played a huge role in why kids are claiming gangs.
back in the day it was more about being a kingpin major drug dealer.
Now kids want to bang and its because of hip hop

Or their parents ain't shyt and they're easily misled by their peers. I see this shyt all the time. If parents and teachers aint leading them in the right direction, they just drop out, disrespect their parents, and do dumb shyt with their friends. The gang they claim provides money, women, and drugs to them and they will call them "family ".

Rap is detrimental to young black men :yeshrug:

Not all rap, but most of it. These kids ain't got no guidance and think what these fake ass rappers rap about is how you suppose to live.

"Get money", kill each other and fukk every bytch they see...and fukk the repercussions because "this street shyt"

Clown show.

Man just look at pants sagging. It’s so many negative factors that come from rap that is still taking place and normalized.

Young brothers really sag their pants like it’s normal just because of hip hop. Just think about that. Walking around with boxers showing with no care if an old lady sees you like that

That is what hip hop is influencing today

people forget that Fort Worth is not actually a major media market like Dallas is...

these Fort Worth nikkas dont have the same resources + pipeline the Dallas ones do.

UGK had to get hot in Port Arthur (small market) & also in their adjacent major market (Houston) before they blew up for real for real.

Fort Worth nikkas do enough to get hood famous in Stop6....then fall off a cliff because they cant make records the DJ A Bay Bay's and Mr. Hit Dat's can spin out here in DALLAS...

the "hottest" Fort Worth rappers is all living in boo-boo ass apartment complexes...except they become bigger targets bc they all still technically in the hood, but with a little notoriety.

Solo Lucci, CJ Kasino, BooGotti, ApeGang, Channel5 J-Dubb,GoYayo, G$ Lil Ronnie, SensaiMolly...these nikkas broke with no shows.

meanwhile the hottest names out of DALLAS city proper (Mo3, TrapBoy, Beezy etc etc) getting 5-15k a night

Funky town gotta hold the L
