It wasn't a worldwide phenomena tho. Mass media obviously helped spread it like wildfire.

Bloods are EVERYWHERE. the Navajo nation got bloods. Every lil town got bloods. How can you deny the influence our media has on us

Imma keep it brief and blunt.

Ya wanna know one of the main reason why gang violence keeps expanding?:
Drugs.

The key is no guidance. Not hip hop.

These young ppl with no real family mother or father figures are being raised by.. Hip hop stories of people making it big by being grimey and doing fukk shyt..
So they emulate and do nothing to push the culture forward. Like I says before we need variance, and balance. Street rap is important, but so is the opposite.

Good point, there is no parity

Lol anybody can shoot somebody. I have no idea why you're talking about them being tough or scary. Where are you from?

Maybe hip hop music should be banned, it’s vile. I heard a song on the radio and dude said my Ak is the kkk best friend because it killed N words.

Hip hop music is vile garbage just brainwashing black boys into sending them to prison or the graveyard.

Did you know there was no violence in the world prior to Hiphop being created in the 70s? No wars, no poverty no famine no disease. This was the Bronx in the 1960s

then the Sugar Hill Gang dropped "Rappers Delight" and in less than 10 years the Bronx became

All that gotdamn hipping and hopping led us astray

These are white supremacist talking points. Frankly what industry has made more black millionaires from the hood than rap music?

"These kids ain't got no guidance"

What does them not having guidance have to do with Hiphop? And why don't these kids have guidance? Is Hiphop to blame for these young nikkas not having guidance?

Why did I listen to every vile rapper from the 90s I could get my hands on and not get caught up in the system? Maybe there were more important factors in my environment that contributed to the decisions I made besides the music I listened to.

I understand what you are saying, but as someone who works with kids every day, rap is poison.

I think we should study why too many young black men allow themselves to be so heavily influenced ( or create the influence) by certain forms of media when other populations are mostly not.

In my opinion is because its what they see and hear every day..its a systematic tactic by the powers that be to push that type of lifestyle to our youth to get them in prison or in the grave.

No logical reason why songs about murder, drugs and other shyt should be on public radio, but those who are in power want our children to be brainwashed..if you been listening to that type of stuff since you were a toddler, then you'll start to think thats how black people are supposed to act
