Here's a message to all of the mindfukked individuals who are missing the larger point, and rushing to investigate and indict and be social media detectives...
We have to educate our people to stop inviting and welcoming this energy. Period. You lie with dogs you wake up with fleas...
This the same youngin who a few months ago posted him getting at a guy over an issue from when he was 12. Youngin took pictures with money and his music was inherently violent. This the kind of energy he put out there, this the kind of energy you attract...
We don't have to go down the list of rappers who don't flick up money phones and talk about who they want to try them and who they would kill, etc. But the rappers who don't speak up that energy, we don't hear accounts of them getting that energy back 99.9% of the time...
So how about for once pointing the finger where the real problem lies? He ain't the first misguided 20-year old to be a victim of that reciprocal energy, he won't be the last, but this starts from the people directly around him to the people who support these nikkas music. Start helping cats make better decisions...
10 years ago, I almost died at 20, March 2010. I wasn't a rapper but I put that energy out there, invited it, and that energy comes back. I didn't learn anything and continued to live within that atmosphere, and It doesn't always mean death but it always comes back...
Give better mentorship to people around us who invite these spirits and as supporters, we can show with the way we interact with these people that we don't approve if their messaging and packaging...
And for people blaming the jackers/killers, you can't blame them. They are living in the same space as the youngin who was killed, they need the same guidance the deceased needs. We don't have an emotional connection to Regular Joe who made the move, so we start talking about the killer is a "hater" or "fukk nikka" or something along those lines. Misplaced anger...
