not making this a NY is better than everywhere else thing but come on breh: NY is one of the worlds epicenters for fashion, music, culture, and money. It’s not just a city.

Yeah but I can’t say he was just local...

He wasn’t Casanova or Don Q

NYC music hits the other Northeast to Midatlantic cities as well

U check his Spotify numbers he had 360,000 listeners in NYC, close to 150,000 monthly listeners in Chicago, 125,000 in LA, 115,000 listeners in London...

And that’s just one streaming platform

California Is Home To 14 Of The Safest Cities In America
Sherman Oaks On 2017 List Of Safest Cities in California

Those areas are among the safest in the country. Little to NO murders, even the robbery rate is mad low. Stop making those Cali suburbs something they're not.

Rich people move to LA from different parts of the country EVERY DAY with no problems.

Now if New York nikkas retaliate:bustback::bustback::bustback::bustback: and start killing LA rappers who come to NYC I want you to keep that same energy.

Tell your nikkas they should of "moved right", and "came correct" because "shyt can happen anywhere":yeshrug:

Man you really are a fukking loser. Athletes and rappers get set up in those areas often. There was a bling ring targeting rich areas not too long ago. These are facts. Stay on that out of towner mentality tho.

But nikka that’s how it starts, you get huge in your city, then you take over, Chief Keef was huge in Chicago, Young Thugh was huge in Atlanta, A boogie huge in ny, if you can say you are the biggest artist in one of the biggest media capitals in the world, then chances are it’s only a matter of time before you start moving big units.

Any nikka that’s ever called himself King of Ny has been an eventual platinum selling artist, from Biggie to Jay to 50 to Bobby Schmurda to that rat ass 69, nowadays it spreads quicker because of the internet, I mean Pop Smoke said he made 200 in London, he was at Paris fashion week, all in the space of the year, respect it.

Unfortunate. I’m not sure why he didn’t have his goonies laid up in the spot with him. You’re out of town, you should be heavy there. I can’t even cop a zip from my mans without tripping over 5-10 heads. If I was a rapper my crib would look like a halfway house.

I mean that’s not true.

Gatti with Travis Scott was on the Billboard if I remember correctly. Meet The Woo 2 did 36K first week. He was just getting his foot in the industry and going to places like LA on press, hitting up different markets. Boy was out for a year.

It’s safe to say imo that with the team he had around him and his talent and current state of buzz in just one year that he was gonna be outta here

If you disagree then cool but ya nikkas on here are generally terrible with predicting talent. I introduced A-Boogie on here and was told he wouldn’t be shyt now he doing 100,000+ sales first week with a grip of Platinum records

Y’all talking about some charts. Chief Keef damn album flopped and some of his biggest most classic songs never charted (Faneto).

C’mon. :heh:

yeah he was gonna he huge

he was already getting play in clubs down here

You saying something different than what i originally commented on.. bruh said dude had 50 cent buzz .. I said foh.. now if he was like he was next up or something that’s different

and I don’t give af bout no billboards i don’t let that dictate what’s hot cuz that shyt is just for white ppl
