Breh its enough to say your RIPs, condolences to his fam, mourn the lost potential, and keep it moving
This shyt reminds me of when Nipsey died and mfs was comparing him to Jesus
And this is coming from someone who liked his music
I know you not gonna accept that, cause NY people are extremely biased, but dude wasn't even charting at the time of his death or prior to it
As far as I know you been maintaining that stance since the MTW1 but buddy who I originally quoted is doing too much

Bro I don’t say shyt without reason, please go to the club next time and if they don’t play Pop Smoke I’ll mail you $200. His buzz is huge he was about to truly blow, come on man the streets and the clubs have always dictated what goes on in rap music, there are certain artists that have a huge buzz before they reach the white masses, I remember when Roddy Rich release I don’t want to die you g, I remember that song being on 200k views bro, I could tell you even then this guy was about to truly blow, just off the feeling he aaa emanating around people I was around.

RIP to this young man that's first and foremost. He didn't deserve this no matter what(details still pending if we're being honest)

OAN,
If you're in here blaming rap for this you are either white or a seriously deluded black person.

@xCivicx is literally in here saying home invasions are a rap thing and it never happens with other musical genres. How many rappers are getting caught up in home invasions in large ass numbers since the inception of rap? I'd love to see the stats on it.

People in here talking about 'rap culture'.

You guys don't see the blatant bigotry in this shyt? That's s*ormfront talk.

You'll focus on this one or few instances where something happened and totally disregard instances where dudes are safe so you can have something negative to say about rap. This is textbook bigotry behavior.

If a doctor goes on instagram and shows off his new $200k mercedes and the mercedes gets robbed can we now say that buying mercedes is dangerous? Do we say buying it and then showing it on on instagram is dangerous? Being a doctor is dangerous because people might assume you have money? I mean if you wanna go full retard I can go there with you to show you how crazy you sound.:hhh:

TLR with these angry white male talking points.:stopitslime:

You really are sounding stupid as fukk tho. "Rap Culture" is synonymous with "Street Culture" no matter how ya'll dudes be trying to spin that shyt. Just because you say everyone who has a dissenting opinion is a cac doesn't make you right. It's also intellectually dishonest. It's a reason the majority of these nikkas is named "Gunline" and "Young Shooter" and its not because these are their G.I. Joe code names.

I’m not a fan of the guy but his latest mixtape Meet the Woo 2 debut at number 7 on the billboard charts. He was featured on Jackboys, which was a number 1 album when it dropped. I get that we NY cats over exaggerate our artist but breh was making waves in the industry. And his music sucks to me.

Never listened to his music but looks like he was caught lacking and not about his business out in LA. Boys gotta cut these entourages get security make up with your enemies ( if u have them) and transition when you get on. Also for the love of god we gotta stop taking pictures with racks of money near us, that just tells whoever hungry to get busy on us. Sad man rip

Dude's upset right now which is understandable. But Pop and his boy was putting their
Four-month-old baby girl dies after being 'raped by her cousin' at a wedding

and moving real reckless in LA. The city known for flockin.

Pop grew up in a tough area, he should know better. Hell what happened to him is part of his lyrics. Just a huge lapse of judgement on his part.

Just him being inexperienced with his fame.

The bolded is what's it right there everybody knows where everyone at that's why dudes getting popped left and right these days.

I mean that’s not true.

Gatti with Travis Scott was on the Billboard if I remember correctly. Meet The Woo 2 did 36K first week. He was just getting his foot in the industry and going to places like LA on press, hitting up different markets. Boy was out for a year.

It’s safe to say imo that with the team he had around him and his talent and current state of buzz in just one year that he was gonna be outta here

If you disagree then cool but ya nikkas on here are generally terrible with predicting talent. I introduced A-Boogie on here and was told he wouldn’t be shyt now he doing 100,000+ sales first week with a grip of Platinum records

Y’all talking about some charts. Chief Keef damn album flopped and some of his biggest most classic songs never charted (Faneto).

C’mon. :heh:

That’s his reality he a young nikka from NY and that’s how he sees it

In NY you can’t go outside without hearing his music his songs transforms functions shifts the energy

Pop didn’t reach his highest potential. It would be like Keef dying shortly after Back From The Dead or 50 dying during his mixtape run before GRODT

Pop Smoke was out for one fukking year

Son had a wave period
See this the problem tho with NY.....blowin up in NY is big cuz it’s a big city and rich city......but it’s still just a city...and they be missin that point....... i
