I don’t get this. I’m just a square. But in all his songs (which some are good, had talent) he talks about having the thing on him, how it’s gonna be murder when they cross but in reality, he got caught on the freeway and ran until they gunned him down in broad day. What happened?
I'm a square too, actually not even square I'm cubed. But I was gonna ask if this is the worse case of a rapper caught lacking ever. Idk I think they said the shooter had a vest on and maybe it happened too fast but this does sound weird

Didn’t know he had a legitimate singing voice. I’ve heard very little of his music (mostly that joint album with Boosie) and thought he was just another slightly harmonizing autotune dude that stood out a bit more than normal. With that kind of vocals, street life should be a distant memory.

He did but Wiz actually signed to Atlantic a while before Kush & OJ. When you listen to artists and industry people talk on podcasts like ItsTheReal about projects they worked on, you start to find out.
Wiz went fron Warner Bros to their subsidiary Atlantic Records. He built alotta buzz himself with Youtube organically, but he got that next level push from Atlantic/Warner Music Group.
Whenever they publicly announce a deal, they've prolly been signed for at least 6 months. Seen it firsthand many times (as recent as last week actually). Whole game is smoke and mirrors.
Back to Mo3, he's sadly become another example, just like Von. All that dissing and talking about keeping a gun on him, yet he's caught lacking and trying to run for his life.
