It's plausible. There was a video on YouTube (that has since gone private) of a dude from Far Rock running on the video shoot, dissing him wanting to fight. same crab mentality could easily lead someone to shoot him

Fat Joe would not even help Big Pun's family out. He says he gave them all the royalties, but lets be reality Pun never sold like that. You figure he would set something up where him and Pun's fam can do at least a business venture that might produce a few hundred thousand dollars a year. I'm not for giving away money, but at least do business together where everybody makes money. Even Akon gave Calvin Klein a bone and these guys did not know each other.

Very few people in the industry got money like 50, Em, Dre, Jay-Z, or Diddy. French is probably sitting on 10 million, so 100k would mean a lot to someone like him, and Diddy not dropping that kind of money for a rapper who was not even signed to Bad Boy.

I agree with most of this but Akon did know Klein. Klein was in a half way house with his uncle who was in the streets. When he would visit his uncle he already knew bout Klein then they became boys and when he got out he put him on.

Biggs already said the funeral was taken care of. You really think French and em gonna do Chinx like that?

I know the story, and at the end of the day I don't knock Fat Joe. Because if I ever saw money, I wouldn't give it away either. You will go broke.

But, I would find a way for everyone to eat. Maybe partner up with Pun's wife and buy a McDonald's franchise or an apartment building or something. When you give away money, nobody appreciates it, but if they know they got only 300k coming in every year they know its not easy come, easy go.

Dudes like Mike Tyson, Nicholas Cage, Antoine Walker, etc...done went broke and those guys seen wild money. I would be surprised if French Montana is even at 10 million, all you can do is let people eat. But he can't throw wild money at Chinx family.

The album was supposed to drop this year, Chinx, French and Durk were all dropping albums this year for Coke Boyz. He was also being considered for the XXL Freshman Edition.

The album was set to be named Welcome to JFK...

Hopefully, the album drops post humously and the proceedings go to his family...

Did my googles, voting wrapped in late March. Results have not been published as far as I could see.

If they havent printed, and Chinx isn't on there, they can still include him.

Nah, that's not what Im saying. I'm just thinking in years past they release the Freshman 10 during the spring and it's damn near summer. I think it's going to be a given Chinx will be a posthumous mention on the list no question. Whether they put him in the 10 or add him as an 11, they'll def mention him.

He was already a candidate. The competition was mad weak and weird so maybe he was already in the top ten. Difficult to see 10 better than him from the list I saw.

I can't see French not covering Chinx funeral. Dude got money and they did seem pretty tight even for industry standards. He was featuring Chinx on all his projects too and touring with him so I don't believe that he would do him and his fam like that.

This whole situation is sad as hell. Dude had three kids

I hate having to address the negativity during this time of grief. It is irrelevant. I pray that everyone would consider that real people lost a real man, friend, brother, father before spreading hateful speech. His funeral is taken care of
