this isn't limited to rappers by any means, if you're in the hood and showing that you have more than others, you're painting a target on your back and Black people's favorite past time is showing off for other Black people.

Yes, like it or not that breeds animosity and jealousy and I'm sure Chinx knew that and others in the hood who drive upscale vehicles know it too which is why they usually ride around strapped because they know they're making themselves targets.
