the way she actually describes it does sound off, if that's how it went down.

he followed her to her place and wasn't even flirtatious about it, just said "oh hey I want some coffee so im coming with you" and then probably switched up when they were alone. Easy to see to why she'd feel some kind of way, and then you get into the whole situation with a woman not feeling comfortable rejecting a man alone in case shyt goes crazy

THAT scenario is a lot of different than being flirtatious and and talking about "coffee" when you're both flirting and know what the real deal is.

Ok now this actually makes sense why someone would be uncomfortable. At least make known what your intentions are by at least flirting before hand.

You're gonna have to be much more specific about the bold if you want to imply, and correct me if I'm wrong, sex being granted because of fear of... rape?

Parents don’t need to teach you everything, and by 22 common sense should be “common” and life experiences should have taught you enough.
That's the problem tho....common sense is a myth. There is no inherent set of rules or guidelines that are understood universally.

And everyone doesn't experience life at the same volume or intensity. Some might have been living a very sheltered, routine life with their parents with little to no change and BOOM college hits and they have no idea how unhinged and unstable people can be.

Imagine expecting an Amish person to know how to navigate college life straight out the farm. Extreme but you see where I'm coming from?

then to add on top of that, it's going over people heads that this scenario is a work environment. if my boss or coworker talked about getting coffee after getting off a set/project i would think nothing of it. but apparently we can't even work/network without a guard up, let alone be friendly in every other circumstance  the community is done.

I'm convinced she wouldn't be complaining if he'd tried to build a relationship with her after sex.
