That Sam Smith part :to: One quote I always carry with me that my dad use to say to me when he'd try to get me to straighten up was, "Saddest thing a man can say later in his life is 'I could've been'"....you can see that in that man's eyes
Randy Moss was a once in a generation type of talent though. That dude thinking he was even close to his level is idiocy. Moss kept fukking up and is still going to go to the HOF. That's what fukks people up, he barely even tried and is considered the 2nd best WR of all time. Imagine if he gave 60% effort.:mjcry:

That's an overstated narrative. People like to say how he was lazy and shyt, but he was a harder worker than people gave him credit for.

People who play any sport so smoothly get punished for looking like they're not playing hard enough. Robinson Cano, Eric dikkerson , Moss all get accused of that bs

Never called him lazy, he himself stated that he took plays off, I am saying he may have held some back so that his friends wouldn't feel as bad as they do now. His greatness actually shamed that dude that was crying because they were doing the same shyt like smoking and whatever, but look where Moss is and look where he is. The 60% percent was just a hyperbolic number. But if he wanted to, he could've put the debate between him and Jerry Rice to bed by his 6th season.

Man, watching this brings me back to being a little black kid in Lilly white Minneapolis Minnesota and the moment I saw #18 (his rookie preseason number before he changed to 84) burn the entire bengals secondary, I instantly became a Vikings fan.

I still remember the commentator quote after he scored "there are going nightmares for defensive backs for years to come when they face randy Moss" :wow:

I still have my old torn up Minnesota Vikings t shirt I bought in 98' before they lost to the Falcons in the NFC championship :to:

Fans were robbed of that Denver vs. Minnesota 'Bowl that year. That would have been a great one. Though, I'm not complaining of the end result. Just saying.
