They were already turning a corner offensively since the Denver game. Could also be since the Denver game, the following opponents were Washington, Vikings (game Fields got hurt), Raiders, Chargers and now Saints. Not exactly top tier defenses.

Scrappy Doo has heart, he'll push the ball down field and stand tall taking a beating. He also holds onto the ball forever (which is why the sack numbers are so skewed) and makes a few braindead decisions like that every week.
