Good Job Chicago 👍🏽

After beating the Charlotte Hornets yesterday, you now have the 12th pick with 7.1% chance at moving into the top 4 and a 1.5% chance at getting the top pick.

A true masterclass on how to play great competitive basketball in March and April. Adam Silver prayed for teams like this in his league during his tenure.

Integrity over tanking will get you on the commissioner's good side

:blessed:
You got rid of Lavine and got full control of your pick back from the Spurs

Be thankful and count your blessings :blessed:

This regular season has been exceptional. There's been great games almost every night.

Yea when games with Lebron Luka Steph and Draymond are on

But that’s not reflective of the entire league

Nobody watching JAZZ vs Blazers or Wizards vs Hornets :mjlol:

Murray's contract is a problem. He isn't an All-Star and he's starting to rack up some nagging injuries.

Gordon's contract is fine but that MPJ one was a disaster the moment the ink dried. There's a few teams that need shooting like Orlando and Toronto but he doesn't fit in either place. Their best options are probably taking an even worse contract in return. I'm sure they could swap him for Lavine, but Lavine's salary is even higher. They could go crazy and call Philly about Paul George. :picard:

They gotta try to bring Bruce Brown back in the summer. I can't imagine he gets big money again after the past two years.

Denver really needs some defenders. Jokic will make them an elite offense by himself but they don't have anybody on the wings to put on opposing perimeter players. Braun's the best option and he isn't some stopper.

They can only trade one first round pick this summer too. :picard:

My personal wild card would be them trying to swap Murray for Morant if Memphis wants out of the Ja business after the season.
The reason I don't think Murray's contract is an issue is that he's still young enough where it isn't a disaster and he's clutch in late game situations. Watching Denver last night it was glaring how lost they are without Murray to close out a game. Plus, the cap's rise mitigates it a bit.

He isn't an All-Star but if he was on a $160M or $170M deal, it wouldn't look that drastic IMO. They overpaid but its not like they gave him $250M and a no trade clause.

But the nagging injuries are a problem.

They played no defense in the 80s. Pace was higher than it is now.

Nah the only thing really tough about the 70s/80s defense was the harder fouls when driving inside. On the perimeter it was really hands off and all about funneling offensive players into the center help. In the 90s was when the really physical on ball hand checking became popular and even that's a byproduct of teams offensive philosophies becomign more about slowing the game down and milking the shot clock.
I was looking more at the “brawl” that took place.

Yeah my problem with Murray is he's just too injury prone and even when he plays he's just way too inconsistent for a number 2 option. For me the problem is the combo of the Murray and Porter contracts. You can't seriously overpay the second and third option and and have them be one way players around a Center that isn't a defensive force.

These tiebreakers are crazy. Got the Wolves winning and dropping from 6th to 7th when the other teams don't play. Then one of the other teams wins when the Wolves don't play and it moved us back up to 6th. Last night the Warriors lost and Wolves didn't play and it dropped them back to 7th.

Just have to win out vs Milwaukee, Memphis, Brooklyn and Utah to make sure they are out of the play in.

Ironically enough...had they kept LaVine they would not be going this hard because they would clearly be ensuring that they didn't lose their pick. That trade was made so they could do exactly what they are doing without worrying about losing it. SMH

Imagine you're OKC, win like 66-67 games this year and your prize is playing the Nuggets or a healthy Clippers team round 1 :dead:

healthy clippers are scary, plus they got guys like simmonds, derrick jones jr, batum who have zero offensive game but you pair them with bogdan, kawhi, powell, harden, zubac works perfectly.

I even think a team like dallas could be dangerous with lively now back

What's interesting is in the West, if you told me any team from 1-8 made the Finals(aside from maybe like the Grizz), I could see it

Yup I could see the Lakers making it but I could also see them losing in the first round

Imagine if clippers are 6 and Lakers third

That's a horrible matchup for the Lakers
