We beat Denver tonight and we win the season series/tie-breaker, putting more distance between us in the standings. Lakers next handful of games are fairly tough as well, whereas ours is relatively light

We might actually have some cushion with the 2-seed heading down the home stretch

One of the main reasons I don't consider the Lakers serious contenders is come playoff time Reeves and Luka will be hunted with no mercy.
Outside the beginning of the halves, JJ should be able to neutralize that with their minutes being staggered.

Though I will say Luka has never been an average defender but I wasn’t aware he get much worse. Hes proven me wrong this season :skip: . It’ll be interesting to see how his offseason goes with conditioning and prep.

That's the trade off tho isn't it?

LeBron, Luka, Reeves... 2 of the 3 can't play defense and the 3rd is 40... so the inclination is well let's stagger their minutes, but what's the rest of that 'championship' playoff roster lookin like? Rui? Vanderbilt? Dorian?

They'll be better suited for that next season with an upgrated roster, but for this year's playoffs they'll have to figure it out with all 3 of them on the court often.
