I think it's an all too fitting reflection of the discourse.

Layering this sentiment of too many 3s whilst trying to offer up an alternative that doesn't make any basketball sense, whatsoever.

The fact that Kenny is trying to argue that Tatum should be driving weakside on a 6'9 word-class defender like McDaniels, whilst Ant is in proximity of closing off his path, and then having to contend with Rudy in the paint, is mind-boggling beyond all comprehension. All just to point out it would've been a better option than a 3 from Payton (who's having one of the most efficient 3-pt seasons ever) over a smaller defender.

Never mind the fact that those same folks would be clowning Tatum for making a bad decision if he did what Kenny wanted him to do.

It wasn't too long ago that Tatum was getting shytted on for doing his best Kobe impression from midrange.
