I mean the guy did make All-NBA the past couple years so people at least rate him as a top 20-30ish player. He's really talented but his specific type of basketball skill doesn't translate well to the playoffs and we have a lot of evidence to support that.

The NBA 7-8 seeds just aren’t like other wild cards /low seeds in other sports. The game isn’t random enough for fukkery to occur like that, so the play in tournament feels like 2 16 seeds playing each other
