LaMelo being a 30/7/6 stat juggernaut who is also overwhelmingly stylish in a captivating 1999 jason williams way (i.e. will his next play be a train wreck or the greatest thing ever, or both), does fill a void for American youth, admist all the foreigners. Him and Tatum. If JT is the mature clean cut '90s Grant Hill remixed, then LaMelo may be like a ratchet-version of Penny in the making.

Getting texts from multiple friends - lifelong hoops consumers - saying they can’t believe how awful it is watching the Celts-Wolves 3 point contest.
No matter how sophistic people keep being in framing this as “old heads want the midrange back” a lot of these games - between top teams no less - are duds in terms of watchability. I don’t know the solution, but I hope someone figures it out.
