Non-basketball fouls shouldn’t be allowed to extend games. Who the fukk wants to watch teams shoot FTs for 10 min with 30s of game time passing with no attempt at an actual play? They got rid of take fouls throughout the rest of the game for a reason. Play basketball. It’s only strategy because of archaic ass rules.

Maybe the middle ground is putting a limit, similar to how if you commit two fouls in the last 2 minutes the team is automatically in the bonus. Maybe you get 2 take fouls, and after that it’s 1 FT and the team retains possession
