i definitely thought we were a playoff team this year adding vets like CP and HB. And Vic is showing why he is the best basketball player in the world RIGHT NOW.

Loving the parity in the league

Didn’t even realize the Spurs and Clips both have winning records

Of course the bottom 3-4 teams in each conference are/will be really bad but it’s dope seeing a shake up in the standings so far

Besides the Celtics....feels like any top 10 team in each conference could beat each other on any night

Not even @Monsanto @VegetasHairline like them nikkas outside of Fox & Monk :mjlol:
I like the team except for Huerter and Mike Brown's rotations.

I usually watch the Hornets, Nets and Kings, but the game aint doing it for me right now. Haven't watched the NBA in a few weeks because it's not entertaining. I'll pick it back up after the all star break.

nikkas would rather lose taking contested middies than win taking good 3s :francis:
Fox is shooting 33% from deep on 6 attempts a game

:gucci:

Meanwhile he's shooting 57% for 2 pointers. Their top 5 guys are all shooting 55% or more from 2.

Keegan is at 28% from deep on 6 attempts.
Huerter pur "sharpshooter" is at 28% on 5.6 attempts from deep.

:gucci:

Their problem isn't 3 pointers. Their problem is giving up leads and not paying attention on defense. They have some of the worst defensive assignments. The amount of times I've seen Monk or Fox get put on a mobile big with no help coming over or shading has been too high.

Why maintain a lead

:unimpressed:

Good win. I'd like to see Sabonis take the next step by eliminating these reach ins and actually attempt some blocks on driving players to the lane. Too many layups where he's in position and just stares at the ball. Make your fouls count.

Prime reason to stop watching for some time. Two different games, same lackadaisical effort.

This is disingenious.

It's not the percentage of 2s you want to look at, but the percentage of midrange 2s, which they hit at 46%, which is equivalent to about 30% from 3. Spacing is definitely an issue for the Kings (they have one of the worst spacing heat maps in the league) and it's the reason why the rarely ever maximize runs because they're both easily defendable and easy to counter on the other end, especially in lineups with both DeRozan and Sabonis.

Needless to say, it's not the entire reason why they're struggling, but it's certainly one of the reasons why they're fighting an uphill battle every night with their shot diet (they went from #3 in 3-pt attempts last season to now 24th).
