MPJ and Murray are on terrible deals; you could argue Gordon has value...and he's a good player, but that $100 million extension that starts in 2026 is iffy. It's like Draymond: what is he without Jokic and why are you paying a premium for that?

I wonder if teams will finally look at these role players and say, "you know what, I'll let another team pay this guy $30+ million a year."

If you're going to do that, then you better be damn sure you have some one or talent ready to help fill the void especially since a lot of these teams are already over the cap anyways.
