Yea thats my point you need to throw away picks to get off the deal for marginal talent coming back...Nuggets to me are 2 seasons away from needing those picks.

They can't trade Jokic...but he's their only guy with value. MPJ and Murray are on terrible deals; you could argue Gordon has value...and he's a good player, but that $100 million extension that starts in 2026 is iffy. It's like Draymond: what is he without Jokic and why are you paying a premium for that?

I wonder if teams will finally look at these role players and say, "you know what, I'll let another team pay this guy $30+ million a year."
