They would still have same said issues even with Jrue on the roster.
They poor drafting and willingness to trade picks for depth that just hasn't panned out doomed them more than anything.
Hell they traded Donte for Ibaka who they didn't even bother to play and gave up 5 picks for Crowder

Jrue carried them at times when Giannis was out tho. Plus he doesn’t end up in Boston making them OP. Jrue, Giannis, and the corpse of Middleton was always a great regular season team
For Jrue to only end up regressing when it came playoff time. We're not about to have revisionist history like posters on here having been clowning Jrue over the years in the playoffs (last year not included).
Their depth has been ass for years now and it finally caught up with them.
They literally have no control or own their first or 2nd round picks till 2031.
This Boston love affair is annoying af. They not Op. they got a easy path to the finals. No healthy Miami. Didnt play the Bucks or Sixers and when they got to the Finals it was weak ass Dallas. No team in the East is fukking with them. Knicks are their biggest (and only) threat, but I think it's a year too early. They're going to need at least one playoff run as a group.
It'll be up to whomever comes out of the West. And OKC is really the only team who have the personnel to beat them. And they too are inexperienced.
Unless Denver manage to reconstruct their roster and give Jokic a proper support cast, well, Boston will most likely make it B2B.
