Yeah, if they're smart they'll cash in on him sooner rather than later. Plenty of teams would love to have him and he's a good player but he needs the ball to be successful since he can't shoot. Obviously, they are not taking the ball out of SGA's hands.

Teams usually hang onto these misfits too long until their value completely diminishes and they get nexto to nothing back like John Collins, CJ McCollum, Ben Simmons, etc.

I think Giddey is definitely the main piece in any sort of big deal. The problem isn't Giddey: it's that because they have so many picks, their assets kinda devalue each other. A team with a big superstar is gonna be like "fine: Giddey and 7 firsts," which is absurd but if you have 18 firsts and 32 2nd's or whatever it is, then a third of your draft war chest can't be too much for a player who would never look your way even with your roster.


so now the question would be: who in the world would be that guy, because simply dealing Giddey for more bites at the apple feels like a waste of time.
