Ime off to a great start with this team
Facts. You can clearly see players aren't standing around anymore, which makes it easier for the players who carry the offensive loads.

Additionally with an orchestrator like Sengun and role players who like to move the ball as well, they got a real cohesive core now that they got championship vets like Van Vleet, Jeff Green and a stellar vet like Brooks. They really made the best offseason moves possible. Potentially GM of the year type of moves.

Additionally, got to account for all the draft picks they have coming from the Nets for the next few years.

its arguably worse than UFC/Boxing coverage - which is saying a LOT
Major part of it is the individually part where one person can make a bigger difference then just about any other sport. In baseball you can hit 3 homeruns, but the other team can hit 4 and there's nothing you can do to stop it since your not the pitcher. In the NFL you can play QB and throw 6 Tds and still lose the game because of the defense.

In the NBA your trying to score and stop the other team from scoring, so you can drop 40 and stop the other player from scoring. Even with that you can't guard all 5 positions at once so your still not responsible for everything that happens. Fans, Media always looks at it as a individual effort instead of team when it comes to the NBA.

he needs to communicate this message to ESPN and their shoulder programming around the game

Probably that JJ Reddikk influence because new media is more in touch with this. You learn more outside the regular tv sports shows and they probably realized they shouldn't dumb it down as much
