only the 94-95 rockets had a more impressive run to the finals than this mavs team. the only two teams to make it to the finals without homecourt advantage in any series since the nba expanded the playoffs to 16 teams in 83-84. mavs become the only team to do it since the nba expanded the first round to best of 7 in 2002-03.

Miami didn't have home court in any series last year.

Neither did the 99 knicks, WTF kind of data is homie getting lmao

Not to mention just common sense:
  • Clips were without their best player
  • Thunder had one great player and a bunch of 22 year olds
  • Wolves were solid but also overachieved as underdogs vs the Suns and Nuggets
Basically, DAL's own 2011 conf/title run was more impressive, home court or not.

The pacers have such a nice team for an actual superstar. Like make Hali the 2 and Siakim the 3 and you’re cooking with gas. Theyre deep too
With Hali and Siakam making what they’re going to make going forward, they can’t bring in an actual superstar unless they think someone else on that roster can be it.
