Klay comes off the bench for a reason, odds are he is gone this off season as he is up for a new contract and he isn’t the player he once was. That shot should of been Curry’s
so knowing this, we can't take them seriously as any sort of threat. Even Curry has had nights where he's been cold. Mind you, Podziemski has a future. Kuminga has a future. If everything is banking on Curry averaging 30+ a night like it's the mid-2010's, he's gonna burn out.

The problem with this line of thinking is that it ignores the basketball reality of the warriors. The warriors find themselves in a position where they have to win every game they can to maintain their position in the tenth spot.

So you can either play curry 30+ a night during the final stretch of the season and mind you he had a long break in the fourth so he definitely should of had that final shot or don’t and possibly loss the 10th seed to the rockets and miss the play in and have a long off season anyway.

Leaving from the game about to hit the casino, been fukking around at Cezars walking around. My first time in that bytch since it's been built. That nikka Z was dominant today. Glad I got to see my dawg for the first time in person. nikka missed 1 shot and had some dawg ass layups 13/14 from the field.

Glad the nikka had a big game today. Woulda been mad if this was a 16 point performance cause of a blow out. The Pels might actually be better without BI on the floor, Z had so much space to drive tonight, that ain't really been the case all year.
Now 6-2 without Ingram. :sas2:

I worry about Chet and how he'll hand playoff physicality
It was malpractice by Presti to not get another big body before the deadline. They're putting WAY too much on Holmgren's shoulders in the paint.

Any other GM would be getting skewered for sitting on their hands with 700 picks at their disposal.

Wemby's numbers are insane.

Really an all-time great season from a stats perspective.

Looking forward to what the Spurs put around him next season.

Clippers gon clipper. It's a loser franchise. Nobody feels any pressure there. Just chill and collect money.
They're definitely under pressure. Ballmer trying to get this right for the new arena next season. PG and Harden want new deals. Fans are getting frustrated at the 213 Era not manifesting anything other than one WCF appearance. Everybody questioning "the trade" all over again. There's definitely pressure. Don't never think otherwise.

If they have to do all this just to eke out the 10th seed to have to play two games to make it to the 8th seed to potentially Denver, OKC or Seattle, then they're not a contender in any way, which is the exact opposite of how they've been talked about.

There's a difference between savvy teams with playoff experience and teams that are old as shyt. They're in the old as shyt category, meaning all the experience in the world isn't gonna mean anything when they lose to younger, hungrier, more talented teams.

NBA Today tomorrow will look for an angle that is supposed to convince us that if they hold off Houston and win the 10-9 matchup and then overcome the 10 vs/7/8 loser, that they're somehow at worst a 50/50 shot to go up against 3 teams who after tonight are a combined 1-10 against this year, losing 10 in a row. We're reached the point where if they wanna play Steph 40 minutes a night, it may not matter anymore and they may only be hurting Steph.

Chet Holmgren is NOT a center.

If this season is proving anything, playing a tall lanky dude at C just cuz he got something more than a middy ain't gonna cut it.

We're gonna look back and go, they had 50,000 picks and gave away Sengun?

Sengun is their Mikal Bridges, where they landed on the obvious guy they needed and gave him away for more picks that didn't pan out for shyt. Ousmane Dieng can never justify that trade. While the Thunder still have a great future, they're the team in an auction draft who have $100 left to spend but nobody else to buy that's worth it.

Detroit You bytch Ass nikka
Per Pelicans twitter:

Since the 2000-01 season, there has been only three instances of a player scoring 36+ points on 92% or better from the field:

Zion Williamson, 2/12/21
36 points, 14/15 FG

Nikola Jokic, 1/17/23
36 points, 13/14 FG

Zion Williamson, 3/24/24
36 points, 13/14 FG

Most 30+point games on 90%+ shooting in NBA history:

9 - Wilt Chamberlain
4 - Dwight Howard
3 - Shaq, Chuck, Zion

27th time starting a game 5/5

The thing is the thunder don't need another scorer. Sengun looks like a typical scoring Euro big. They need a banger. Someone who will play defense, foul and hustle for rebounds. They also need another shooter a 3D type of player someone like a prime safelosha would fit perfect on the OKC team. Having so many picks is a blessing and a curse especially with the unexpected emergence of their players. The thunder have drafted really well with their lower tier picks.
