You sound like a hater. Ayton had 22 and 10 on Joker last game and two games ago had 22 and 16 on Gobert. Nick Richards did not outplay him most of Nick Richards's points were scored when Ayton had to help out on defense. Portland going 1-26 from 3 is not on Ayton. They missed a bunch of open threeshow often is ayton going to get a frontcourt rotation of grant williams and nick richardsand nick richards has high key outplayed him too
if he set some real screens then maybe portland wouldn't be 1-26 from deep

maybe if he rolled to the rim instead of clogging the lane hoping to take goofy ass jumpers, teams wouldn't derail portland's offense with deflections constantly
it'd be different if he ever got a team in the bonus tho - but ayton has literally zero intention of making a defense pay for anything. all this capping and still can't explain why ayton averages 1 (one) free throw attempt a game.

He doesn't even clog the lane. Teams pack the paint because there are no shooters on Portland that can space the floor. They also barely run any offense through him. Once Portland gets a coach who actually runs sets and someone other than Ant running the point his numbers will get better even though hes been playing great since his return from injury.

If he focused on just distributing and dialing back his shot attempts, I think he'd be really effective. He's a great passer. He would really help Orlando if he did that, IMO.I was thinking of places outside of the obvious Spurs situation, not many teams truly need a PG right now and you can't pair him with another star guard without ur starting lineup being small as shyt.
The teams that need his services are all kindaoutside of Miami and that Spurs dynasty run pending.

Game obviously not over yet tho, but this first half and that game against the T-Wolves I see Bud era Bucks basketball.
