Too many teams ahead of them at this point, so they'd have to go full on tank for a chance to even end up in the top 10. That early run to start the season kind of screwed them over tbh even if it did inspire initial optimism.Sohh we gon act like the Jazz aint in a position to tank anymore.

It was definitely a scheduling loss but I'm tired of Willie saddling the starting lineup with Herb's negative offensive presence. You're supposed to add threats and shooters around Zion, not take them away.
Dude's been horrendous offensively this season and more than offsets his defense, which hasn't been as other worldly as last season. He has to come off the bench until he improves his shot.
Right now there's probably a false sense of security with them winning despite Ingram being out. So any loss to a fully loaded contending team will appear like they were playing with house money anyway... which is partly true but they gonna be in regret come May if this complacency carries through the Feb trade deadline.
They need a healthy January with Zion/Ingram/CJ/Val/Nance Jr/ etc all playing and no setbacks, vs some heavy contenders. So mgt can see clearly what works/doesn't work without any perceived safety nets.
