Brehs, who was the guy who was posting that MPJ was better than Jokic and should be the man for the Nuggets? :scusthov:

With Jokic out against the Knicks last night MPJ was 1-8 from the field (1-6 from three) with only five points in 28 minutes of action. :scusthov:

I still believe in his talent and know he can go off at times but I just don’t know if he can be THAT guy
His career is starting to remind me of Gallo where he has a decent career, but could have been even better if not for the injuries.

25 mins.. a mid 6pts 5reb 4ast... but a +26 when on the floor.

The concern imo is that in their last two playoff runs (2020 and 2021) their offense basically came down to Kawhi having to average 30+ppg on a 30 PER for them to get by lesser opponents like the Mavs or compete vs a Denver. If he's less than that, no one is there to subsidize his effort, not until the Utah series in which PG showed up.

So even if Kawhi is back to 2021 form by April, it's still not good to have to draw from that reserve (superstar) tank so early in the 'offs. Their O needs to be easier, but currently LAC is #2 in defense but #29 in offense, and it shows.
